Contemporary and Future Spaces of Interdisciplinary Dialogue: Law – Theology – Politics – Education

The aim of the project is to examine and describe the mechanisms of cooperation among law, theology, politics, and education, and to show their role in shaping the axiological foundations of contemporary democratic societies. The project seeks to capture how the relationships between these disciplines influence the functioning of political and civic communities, the processes of legitimising authority, and the formation of ethical and social attitudes; it also aims to indicate forms of interdisciplinary dialogue conducive to building social cohesion and strengthening the resilience of public institutions. The point of departure is the assumption that law, theology, politics, and education do not operate in isolation, but co-create a network of discourses in which the axiological order of collective life is formed. The scope of influence of this dialogue covers several levels: on the normative plane, law and theology produce value systems and rules that shape public institutions and social practices; on the political plane, it translates into mechanisms for decision-making, legitimising authority, and formulating policy grounded in particular values; on the educational plane, it becomes a tool for shaping civic and cultural consciousness. The choice of these four domains arises from their fundamental significance: theology contributes the axiological dimension, law provides institutional structure, politics organises collective life from a decision-making perspective, and education ensures the transmission of knowledge, values, and patterns of conduct.
